If I was sent back to 1972 and the only videogame I could play was an Atari, you sure bet I'd embrace Pong, even if I wouldn't touch it nowadays. I'd imagine you'd crave any kind of stimulus in that manner, be it a gardening book, religious scripture, or the damn dictionary. You're right, but imagine you love reading, and you're suddenly thrown into a world where any written medium is hard to come by, especially those of any meaningful length (eg.

Like it’s fine if it’s not your thing but please don’t sh*t on it, your points against it don’t make much sense.ġ. I say this as someone who’s finicky about my anime and doesn’t watch “stupid” shows. This show is far from stupid, it’s refreshingly innovative for the tired isekai genre and the story is actually engaging. A world with a magic system and young kids who are expected to take on more responsibilities pretty early, so while it might seem odd, nobody except her family really knew her as a person and they’re literally just happy she’s alive tbh because she’s so frail. You also don’t seem to understand that Main is not mentally 5 years old, you’re watching an Isekai where an early 20’s woman died in her own world and woke up in a 5 year old’s body in another world.

If this wasn’t true, then nobody would still want physical books anymore whe you can read everything on a computer, tablet, or phone. Bookworms feel something like this all the time. I am actually amazed that you don’t know this about people. Yes, actually some people LOVE books just because they’re BOOKS and will read ANYTHING you put in their hands. Lol I’m so sorry you don’t understand that people can have weird obsessions. Nobody is gonna raise the topic of how a 5yr old invented a fragrent liquid that cleanses your hair and made paper. I don't even remember anything about when I was 5.ĥ. Where on Earth do you find such intellectually mature 5 year olds? And people assume its a common thing. The characters are stupid, nobody gives a damn about how a bunch of kids barely able to defend themselves were roaming around in a MEDIVAL town.Ĥ. An author will write a book not because he loves books, but because he wants to express his views ro other people through the medium of books.ģ. You can only love a book for its CONTENT, not the whole thing, so holding is book is stupid, and creating one is even more stupid just because you love books. You love anime, but that doesn't mean you love every anime, the thought of seeing something like school days in another world would piss me off.Ģ. The idea of loving an entity called book is stupid because the book is solely judged on its content, books can be good or crap. A book is a medium, not a paticular thing. That might seem like a senseless statement just like the driving force of this anime.Įdit:- Fine, Fine, I've got it, I'll finish the entire thing firstĮdit 2:- I was wrong, okay? I just put up a narrow minded opinion.ġ. Loving books and loving 'BOOKS' are two different things. Now I've watched like 2 episodes, the show seems interesting but let us be real for a second.
